Looking After the Cat

Last weekend, my neighbor asked me to look after his cat while he traveled. I agreed, because I usually look after animals when people in my building are away.

While I was at his apartment, I began to look for the cat’s food. I couldn’t find it at first, but after a few minutes I finally looked for it in the right cupboard.

Then, I put on some music and started to relax. The cat seemed happy to listen to the music with me. Later, I also listened to the sounds outside to check if the cat wanted to go out.

In the evening, I had to wait for my neighbor’s call. He told me to wait for him at the main entrance when he arrived.

When he came back, he thanked me and said he really agreed with my way of taking care of the cat. I smiled and said I totally agreed with his idea of leaving pets with friends instead of strangers.
