Go along with the plan

Last Saturday, my friends and I decided to eat out because we didn’t feel like cooking. Before leaving, we noticed the fridge was starting to fall apart, but we said we would get by until next month to fix it.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the waiter asked us to hang on for a few minutes because the table wasn’t ready. While we waited, we began to look around the place. Suddenly, an old man next to us almost passed out, but fortunately he was fine. Later, we heard that the owner of the restaurant had passed away the year before, and his children had decided to go along with his dream of keeping the place open.

The food was delicious, but halfway through our dinner, the restaurant had run out of pizza dough. We laughed and decided to order pasta instead. At the end, more friends came to get together with us, and we spent hours talking. We didn’t want the night to go on, but eventually, it was time to leave and move on.
